Ms. Kirby graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1994 and devotes her practice exclusively to DUI/DWI defense. She has achieved much success advocating for her clients across both Missouri and Kansas and has established a reputation for thoroughly and zealously defending her clients. 

 Her peers have voted her a Super Lawyer in DUI and DWI defense for many years running. Denise was voted "Best DUI/DWI Attorney" by the Kansas City Star in 2023, and currently serves as President of both the Missouri DWI Institute and the Missouri Society for Criminal Justice. She is co-chair of the Missouri DWI Institute Seminar Series, an annual intensive training seminar for DWI defense attorneys across the state. She previously served as co-chair of the Bernard Edelman DWI Law & Science Seminar and served on the DWI Committee and the Board of Directors of the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Denise has lectured and seminars across the region on a variety of topics involving DWI defense, including challenging prior convictions, DWI Investigation, and the administration of standardized field sobriety tests.
